In the spirit of Easter, a season synonymous with hope, sacrifice, renewal, and triumph, the Chief Medical Director of Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital (IUTH) Group, Dr. Ya’u Abubakar Gagarawa, has extended heartfelt greetings and appreciation to all members of staff across the hospital’s network for their unwavering service and commitment.

In his Easter message titled “Renewed Purpose Through Sacrificial Service,” Dr. Gagarawa highlighted the deep significance of the season, drawing parallels between the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ and the values upheld by healthcare and educational professionals.
> “The story of Easter,” he said, “centered on the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, is a powerful reminder of the virtues that define our calling: selflessness, compassion, resilience, and firm commitment to humanity.”



Addressing staff of IUTH Okada and Benin, the IUTH College of Nursing Sciences Okada, and the Igbinedion College of Health Technology Benin, the CMD encouraged all to continue to embody the spirit of sacrificial service, emphasizing that their roles—though often carried out behind the scenes—are essential to the mission of touching lives through care, knowledge, and service.



He further commended the professionalism and dedication of the entire workforce, acknowledging their “individual and collective sacrifices—often quiet, yet deeply impactful.
”> “May the message of Easter inspire us all to rise above challenges, to support one another, and to remain faithful to the noble cause entrusted to us,” Dr. Gagarawa said.
